Just a few important points for you to remember before placing your order with us:
Payment Terms – All items must be paid for at the point of order, via our online Website. We may consider special requests for payment by bank transfer, or cheque, in some cases for very large orders, payment in instalments. Any such requests should be sent via email before placing an order. we do reserve the right however to decline such requests. No items will be dispatched until full payment has been received by us. Once payment is made the seller will provide the goods agreed in the sale within the time frame specified, if the time frame changes the buyer can opt to wait the additional time specified by the seller for the item to be delivered or they can request a refund of any monies paid. Prices are cleared stated at the checkout point.
The prices displayed on our website are in British pounds. The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our web site at the time you place your order. We reserve the right to change the prices of the products at any time.
Your Order – An email confirmation will be sent following every order and it is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is correct. These terms and conditions shall govern the sale and purchase of products through our website. Please read the following terms and conditions of sale carefully before ordering products from us. By accessing this website and/or purchasing goods from us, you agree to be bound these terms and conditions. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register/purchase from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website. You will be asked to give your express agreement to these terms and conditions before you place an order on our website.
Order process – Each and every order is so very important to us, if you need to make any changes to your order please notify us as soon as possible by emailing us at info@lovedandcherished.uk however if we are already in the process of creating your keepsake, then we may not be able to make any changes.
Please take care when sending clothes and always send by recorded delivery so that we can let you know when we have received them – this will be to your email provided when you ordered via our website.
When you are sending us your clothes to be made into keepsakes and other memory items, it is your responsibility to provide the right number of suitable clothes. The clothes should be suitable in that the condition must be good condition for cutting out and re-stitching together. If clothes are too worn or unclean when we receive them we reserve the right to refuse to use them. In this instance you will be informed and given the opportunity to send in additional clothes, you will be responsible for postage and packaging.
If you specifically want all the items to be included in your memory bear or animal, or feel particularly strongly about certain items or images on an item of clothing being incorporated in your keepsake bear or animal, this must be specified within your package when your clothing is sent to us. We will do our best to honour all requests but cannot guarantee all special requests.
If you are in any doubt about the condition of the clothes, the quantity, or have any other questions about them please email us before you send them, where you can include a photograph. We will assume that all clothing you have sent to us is to be used unless clear instructions are given otherwise within your package. Once we have cut the items which you have sent us, we cannot put them back together.
All of our products are 100% handmade in the UK using fabrics & materials chosen & sent to us by you our customer.
When you receive your keepsake bear/animal or cushion please do remember it is a keepsake to admire and to treasure, it is NOT a Toy. Some of our bears have moving joints and are attached with a button and thread and therefore it needs to be treated very carefully. If however, although unlikely a limb becomes detached from the body we will be happy to refit for you, provided that there are not obvious signs that the keepsake has been roughly handled or mistreated in anyway.
We hope you love the creation we make for you but due to the nature of this type of product we cannot accept responsibility if the Keepsake is not as you imagined, each keepsake is completely unique, apart from the size and shape of the animal, it will not look exactly like the images on our website, no two animals will ever be the same and can vary a lot in appearance depending on the fabric, pattern and how stretchy it is.
Disclaimer – We offer you this sewing service and our memory and keepsake items are NOT designed or intended for use as a toy as they are decorative keepsakes.
In view of the individual and bespoke composition of each teddy bear, they cannot be CE-approved and accordingly do not comply with any toy safety guidelines
and are not deemed safe for use as a toy by Law.
They are not designed or intended for use in play by children under 14 years of age.
Each keepsake is double-stitched with utmost care and attention with a home sewing machine ‘some detailing is finished by hand, ’ Some keepsakes limbs are cotter pin jointed or button jointed, glass eyes are used and often beads and or buttons that can cost swallow hazards if they come off.
Loved & Cherished does not accept any liability for the misuse of these decorative keepsakes.
Personalisation – If you have chosen to have personalisation on your keepsake, please ensure that all names are entered into the relevant boxes on the website. The personalisation will be embroidered as you have written; we will not query any spellings or dates entered. If the keepsake is produced with any incorrect details which have been provided by the customer, rectifying this will incur additional charges and you the buyer will be responsible for both the return and re-posting costs.
Return of fabric cuttings – If you would like any remaining fabric cuttings returned to you please include a note in with your parcel of clothing when you send to us. Return of fabric cuttings is free of charge generally and included within the postage cost of your keepsake, however if there is a large quantity of fabric to return with which the weight will inflate the normal return postage cost we may request a contribution to the cost of additional postage.
To enter into a contract through our website to purchase products from us, the following steps must be taken: you must add the products you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, and then proceed to the checkout; if you are a new customer, you must then create an account with us and log in; if you are an existing customer, you must enter your login details; once you are logged in, you must select your preferred method of delivery and confirm your order and your consent to the terms of this document; you will be transferred to our payment service provider’s website, and our payment service provider will handle your payment; we will then send you an initial acknowledgement; When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, phone and address details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of our order. A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order. After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received
Please note that we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following reasons:
• If it is identified that there is a product description or pricing error
• If customers do not reach any order criteria outlined in the Terms & Conditions
• If our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including hazardous weather and accidents.

The description of goods is as set out on the website. Any discrepancies is for illustrative purposes only and there may be small discrepancies in the size and colour of the product supplied.
We do not give any warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information and cannot be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information. Please also note that as computer monitors/screens vary in nature and resolution, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s representation of any colour will be completely accurate. All goods which appear on the website are subject to availability
Gift Vouchers – Gift vouchers can be used on any product order.
Supply – All of our orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.
Warranties and representations – All the information that you provide to us in connection with your order is true, accurate, complete and non-misleading; and you will be able to take delivery of the products in accordance with these terms and conditions and our delivery policy. The products you buy will correspond to any description published on our website; and the products you buy will be of satisfactory quality..
We do our very best to ensure that all of the information on our website is correct. Given the handmade and very personalised touches that our products receive all measurements are approximate. Particularly with keepsakes and other memory items the products can vary greatly in their appearance due to the types of materials supplied by you. We use the same patterns for each keepsake/memory item and any variations are therefore unavoidable and we will not replace items where they do not exactly match the product example photograph on the website.
Variation – We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by publishing a new version on our website. We recommend that you consider saving a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
Web Site Usage and Conditions – Our Website and all contents (including all photographs, images, descriptions, drawings and other material of any description) are owned by Loved & Cherished Memory Bears. It is protected by copyright, which along with all other intellectual property rights in the Website belong to Loved & Cherished Memory Bears. The Website is available for your personal use only. You may only download, print, store and use any material appearing on the Website for the purpose of purchasing or researching the purchase of any product from us for yourself, family or friends or providing such material to your family or friends for the same purpose. Entire agreement – These terms and conditions, together with our delivery policy and our returns policy shall constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the sale and purchase of our products and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and us in relation to the sale and purchase of our products.
