Step 1: Choosing Your Garments
Begin by selecting the clothing that holds the most meaning for you. These are the pieces we’ll lovingly reimagine as a unique keepsake. Because each item is personally crafted, we prefer to chat with you directly before you make a purchase. This way, we can discuss your vision and ensure your keepsake is exactly what you imagine.
Step 2: Select Your Keepsake
Once you’ve picked your garments, head over to our shop page to choose your desired keepsake. After clicking on your selection, simply proceed to checkout. Our secure payment partner, PayPal, makes the process easy, even if you don’t have a PayPal account – you can check out as a guest using your debit or credit card. You’ll receive an email confirmation of your purchase right away.
Step 3: Sending Us Your Clothing
Next, it’s time to send your chosen clothing to us. We highly recommend using recorded delivery for peace of mind. Please include a note with your name and any special instructions you may have. As soon as your items arrive, we’ll email you to confirm their safe receipt and provide all the necessary details.
Local to Colchester, Essex? You’re welcome to drop off your clothes in person and collect your finished keepsake when it’s ready.
Step 4: Let the Creation Begin!
With your precious items in hand, we’ll begin crafting your keepsake with the utmost love and care. We understand that entrusting us with a loved one’s garments can be a difficult decision, so please know that every stitch will be handled with the respect it deserves. If we have any questions about your special instructions, we’ll reach out to ensure we’re both perfectly aligned.
Step 5: Your Keepsake Comes Home
Once your keepsake is complete, we’ll send you photos of the finished piece. You can then choose to collect your keepsake from us or have it delivered by post. We know how incredibly precious these items are, which is why all posted keepsakes are sent via a signed-for, tracked, and insured courier service. You’ll receive an email with your tracking number, allowing you to follow your special keepsake all the way to your doorstep.
If you opted for collection, we’ll be in touch to arrange a suitable pick-up time and date.
Step 6: Love and Cherish Your Keepsake
Your completed keepsake will arrive, ready to bring comfort and keep your cherished memories alive. We’d absolutely love to see your special items in their new homes, so please feel free to send us photos!
